Betco is a privately held specialty chemical and equipment manufacturer that is known for high-performing products and programs that help their customers win in the commercial cleaning industry. Betco offers hundreds of chemical and equipment solutions, comprehensive market programs and industry-leading training resources for end users and sales professionals. Struggling with an antiquated, broken product website, Betco came to The Provato Group looking for an application development partner to assist their existing marketing partner in redesigning and developing their company website on a platform that would work well for them. In addition to that, Betco had a slew of applications that were completely disparate, some online and some not, which all had to be integrated into one cohesive ecosystem.
Solution & Results
The solution we provided started with architecting a shared web platform that their distributors and customers could access, where all applications could live and work together seamlessly. Betco soon agreed to this undertaking which ended up providing a huge market advantage over their competition.
Over the course of the project, and after a a successful implementation and deployment of their new website, the client gained a level of trust with Provato that opened a view into their legacy systems, future goals, and how those could be met with the new system. This resulted in the addition of numerous rebuilt legacy applications, as well as green field projects that offer functionality that was never offered by the client to their network of customers. Today, this client is viewed as the industry leader in the supply of products, services and mobile apps offered to their distributors and private label customers.
